On Tuesday, August 30, the HSC will make itself a bit more mobile by taking services to the unsheltered of our neighborhood. With more than 800 people consistently near the Campus, we know that they are not all accessing the plethora of services that are available. We will set up at 12th Avenue and Madison for the day to provide a special version of Project Connect.
Accessibility at every step is key in finding housing – meeting people where they are. Project Connect seeks to expand accessibility to essentials like the Department of Economic Security and the Motor Vehicle Division while working on shelter and permanent housing pathways. This event is just one way our team and partners make that happen.
Project Connect events are most successful when volunteers assist each individual guest to navigate the services. Join us on the front lines for all or part of the day.
