Meet in Iowa Funds Still Available for 2023

There are still funds available for groups planning meetings in your hotels. Be sure to share the Meet in Iowa website with your sales director to use an incentive tool for closing business. Meet in Iowa was created to increase hotel night stays, particularly during weekdays. Groups that meet in your community and stay in your properties may qualify for up to 25% reimbursement for their eligible expenses through this program.

 Competing with an out-of-state property for a conference, training or business meeting? This program could close the sale! In 2022, the program increased hotel night stays in Iowa by 4,566 with more than $700K of reimbursed expenses back to groups. See how you can help your guests and clients today. The team at the Iowa Hotel & Lodging Association and Iowa Restaurant Association are administering this program on behalf of Travel Iowa.
