Back to School Transitions

The back-to-school season can be exciting, stressful, and everything in between! You're probably feeling excited and maybe a little sad that summer is over. Switching from a summer to a school schedule can be stressful to everyone in the household. Avoid first-day-of-school mayhem by practicing your routine a few days in advance. Set the alarm clock, go through your morning rituals, and get in the car or to the bus stop on time. Routines help children feel comfortable, and establishing a solid school routine will make the first day of school go much smoother. View Article

Evan Prosser

Garden City, MI

Congratulations to Evan for successfully completing the Online Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate Program of Study!

Evan began his career in early childhood as an assistant teacher at a child care center and has loved it ever since. He enjoys working with the children during group activity time and going over the message board with the kids in the morning. Evan is motivated by the way the children are always eager to learn something new. He says, "I enjoy being around the kids and learning with them. They always look forward to learning something new and hearing the plan for each day. They teach me just as much as I teach them!"

In his free time, Evan likes to travel and spend time with friends and family. He hopes to travel the world in the future, and possibly relocate to California soon. He plans to take more courses with CCEI, and hopes to further pursue his education in a variety of fields. Evan recommends CCEI to everyone and says, "I gladly recommend CCEI to anyone looking to further their education in the early childhood field. I had a great experience with CCEI and would love someone else to experience that journey."

Congratulations, Evan! CCEI is proud to call you a graduate!
