OrlandoShootingChristians Across the Nation Will Cry Out to God for America on 9/11

Cry Out America 2015
Our nation is a great nation; a bastion of freedom for millions; a land where we are free to worship God as we choose; a land of abundant resources and limitless opportunities, and so much more. Yet, present conditions in our nation morally and spiritually are desperate. America is in deep crisis. Church attendance is declining and an entire generation is emerging with little understanding of absolute truth. United, decisive action by all who are called by God's name is imperative. The only hope for change is a spiritual awakening in our nation. Together we must cry out to God for His help and intervention.
Cry Out America began in 2008, following the infamous 9/11/2001 terrorist attacks that served as a critical "wake-up call" for our nation. Under the auspices of the Center for Spiritual Renewal and Awakening America Alliance, this grassroots prayer initiative is dedicated to calling out to God in contrition and repentance, applying the prescription of Joel 1:14, "Declare a holy fast; call a sacred assembly. Summon the elders and all who live in the land . . . and cry out to the Lord."

Initially promoted as a 9/11 noon-time prayer meeting at county courthouses across America, Cry Out America has mobilized hundreds of thousands of people at prayer gatherings in all 50 states. People across denominational lines have joined hands and hearts in contrition, repentance, and in intercession for our nation.

Free resources on how to partner with or mobilize your church, ministry, or county to pray on 9/11 are available at www.awakeningamerica.us. There are also free resources on how to engage in a living prayer/care/share lifestyle in your walk with Christ.

Since the 15th anniversary of 9/11 is on Sunday, you have an opportunity to set aside time in services, whether an hour or 11 minutes, for a special focus on praying for our nation. Kay Horner, Executive Director of the Center for Spiritual Renewal and the Awakening America Alliance, believes America is on the verge of a sweeping move of God's Spirit that will touch every state, every county, every church, and every heart.

Horner states, "The historical patterns of America's Great Awakenings indicate that in times of a seemingly hopeless environment, God chooses to move in response to the cries of His people. We are crying out to God seeking a deep transformation and a Christ-awakening in America." May it be so, we pray! - John Maempa
MexicoCommissionPCCNA Opens Chapter in Mexico

Pastor Fermin Garcia
In San Diego, February 2013, PCCNA launched an expansion initiative to embrace Pentecostal/Charismatic organizations in the nation of Mexico .

Last month, July 2016, the PCCNA Executive Committee approved the launch of a new chapter in Mexico.  Rev. Fermin Garcia, senior pastor of Grupo Unidad in Tijuana - and a highly respected leader in his country - will lead the development of the new chapter.

PCCNA member organizations in the USA and Canada are asked to provide Pastor Garcia with the names and contact information of their affiliate movements in Mexico.  Let's "demonstrate unity in the power of the Spirit" with our brothers and sisters south of the border.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."   Acts 1:8 (NIV)

Dr. Tim and Paula Hill
PCCNA congratulates and welcomes Dr. Tim Hill, the newly elected General Overseer of Church of God. Here is more about Dr. Hill from Church of God:

The next General Overseer of the Church of God is ready to lead from a global perspective.

Most who know Rev. Tim Hill are acquainted with the leadership posts to which he has been elected or assigned: pastor, state overseer, International Executive Committee member, and director of World Missions. But the depth of Tim Hill goes beyond his impressive Church of God resume.

The Battle for Religious Liberty
I feel impelled to write you this most unusual pastoral letter. I do it out of deep concern and I ask you to hear my heart.

We are on the precipice of losing critical religious liberty protections in our country. Over the past 25 years, the Supreme Court has severely limited the traditional understanding of the First Amendment to the Constitution.Read more
