Dear Friend:

We are always thrilled to receive flower donations, and those who donate are excited to have their flowers bless others. Recently Suzanne and Irene visited special group to thank them for their unique donation to Flower Angels.  Read the article below to learn about the Brewster Children's Garden, a very special place.  As a result of their generosity, our volunteers (see Gail and her special helper Eda)

make beautiful bouquets that lift the spirits of so many wonderful people residing in Cape Cod nursing homes and hospice centers.

Those wishing to donate flowers or materials should check out our website for details.

A Special Mission
Flower Angels collaborates with our differently-abled community from Cape Abilities, Community Connections, and LIFE.

These wonderful adults with disabilities are a vital part of our team. They join us in our loving, supportive environment helping with the many responsibilities needed to keep our mission going strong. They love delivering bouquets and bringing smiles to the residents in the nursing homes. The floral recipients love their visits, too. It’s a partnership made in heaven!

Flower Angels welcomes new Board members!

         The Brewster
  Children's Garden

Amazing!  The Brewster Children's Garden is a project that matches Brewster children with a mentor from the Barnstable Community Master Gardener's Program. The garden gives these children the chance to learn about the fundamentals of vegetable and flower gardening under the supervision and mentorship of master gardeners like Joanne Fahrenz (who also happens to be a Flower Angels volunteer). The Children's Garden grows and donates flowers to our mission! Recently, Suzanne and Irene visited the garden to thank the special 8-12 year old volunteers for their hard work and dedication to our organization.  As a thank you, Irene and Suzanne gifted the children with a teacup bouquet designed and created by our workshop volunteers. Learning about growing flowers and about the beauty of giving back is such a wonderful lesson this group is realizing and embracing at an earlier age than most. Thank you Brewster Children's Garden for allowing us to use your beautiful summer blooms. Keep up the great work!

     Thank you Sara Campbell, Chatham!

On July 19th, Sara Campbell and Nora Carey hosted a special night at the beautiful new Sara Campbell store on Main Street in Chatham, raising awareness and funds for Flower Angels.

Dear Nora:

"Thank you and your staff for hosting such a splendid fundraiser event for Flower Angels. I was honored to attend this lovely fun-filled evening overflowing with beautiful people and clothing.  We so appreciate this wonderful opportunity to raise awareness and funds for our mission of “Delivering Random Acts of Love, Recycling Flowers, Warming Hearts”. Our organization has been a blessing for so many seniors and adults with disabilities who have been all but forgotten by society. We are filled with gratitude for your and Sara Campbell’s kindness and generosity in support of our charity."
                                                                Sincerely,  Suzanne

Flower Angels was recently  invited by Denise Devers, owner of Home Instead Senior Care, to be the featured speaker at the Community Care Resource  Group. This is an organization of caring professionals who serve  seniors in the Cape Cod region. Their mission is to connect with one another,  collaborate on ideas and provide information  and referrals for seniors in our community. It was another opportunity to share what we do with this group of individuals.

Also..............Thank you to our generous brides and their families who have donated their beautiful wedding flowers: Barbara Payne, Julia Simons, Emily Whitney, Gail Cummings and Nancy Seidman. Cape Cod Healthcare also donated their beautiful event flowers to us. We send our gratitude. ❤❤
