Understanding Eye Bolts
Eye bolts are one of the simplest and yet most often misused pieces of rigging equipment. There are several factors that must be considered when choosing and installing eye bolts. Dan Rose, Trainer at Bishop Lifting Products is here to help you learn the 5 factors to consider when lifting with eye bolts.

When eye bolts are used improperly, they can be damaged or broken leading to catastrophic accidents and injuries even when performing fairly basic lifts. For more information and help choosing the proper eye bolts or other rigging gear for your applications, please contact the Bishop Sales Team at 1-800-972-1041 or email them at

Frac Iron Lifting System
When rigging applications are unique and time sensitive, like installing Frac Iron Piping to Frac Manifold Systems, Bishop Lifting's engineering team is able to provide a "lift specific rigging solution".  Our engineering team performs an analysis of the lifting application and can provide 3D modeling, renderings and FEA when needed. Increasing installation safety and efficiencies for oilfield service companies and the production is what our team strives to accomplish. Also, renderings provided to the customer are great tools for training purposes for the oilfield service personnel installing equipment.
