Join Fresh Arts in celebrating the 13th anniversary of our Winter Holiday Art  Market: November 16-18, 2018. 

In its mission to provide artists access to economic development and networking opportunities to support their professional growth. Fresh Arts hosts its annual Winter Holiday Art Market (WHAM), a weekend art sale and celebration of Houston's talented and diverse arts each November at Winter Street Studios.

NALAC Fund For the Arts (NFA) Grants

As the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) approaches its 30th anniversary in May 2019, it announces the latest round of grant opportunities for Latino artists and arts organizations across the United States and Puerto Rico. Grants will support projects taking place in 2019, and applications are due Thursday, September 6, 2018.

Houston's artists and creative individuals make Houston a more culturally rich place to live through their creative problem solving, provoking messages and animation of neighborhoods and cultural institutions.
The Support for Artists and Creative Individuals program provides funds of up to $15k to advance the careers of Houston artists and creative individuals creating new work or completing work already in progress. All awardees are responsible for sharing the work they accomplish in a public program as outlined in their grant proposal.

The TANK Project Space is a small experimental art space in Spring Street Studios  dedicated as an installation space for visual artists. The gallery schedules four installations a year. They're looking for artists to create installations at TANK Space.

Dance Source Houston's Artist-in-Residence program is open to Houston dance artists of all genres. Artists for the 2018-19 season will be selected based upon their desire to push themselves and their art to new levels by taking risks and maximizing their time in the residency. The residency will culminate with performances of the work created.
