August 2018 LPGA Amateur Golf Association DC
E-Blast
President's Message

Dear LPGA AGA DC Members,

Can we just acknowledge that our DC Chapter ROCKS?! We swept the Semi-final Championship - Chesapeake Division and we remained the trophy holders in the Battle of the Beltways. Congrats everyone!!!

Let's cheer the Cup teams to continue this winning streak in September, and very best of luck to Championship finalists in October. (I just hope everyone has saved some money since this 'winning' does not come cheap).

August is in full swing, as hot and wet as July, but I hope that's not swaying anyone off the golf course. Check out our schedule of events, still an extensive list till the end of the season.

Also, our biggest charity event, Play for P.I.N.K., is August 26. So put your foursome together and sign up, the deadline is August 23.

Let's not forget another big event this month: World Amateur in Myrtle Beach. Good luck to everyone that is going. Have fun!!

Sincerely,

Snjezana Arthur
President
