Did you know that our Council participates in a paper-recycling program called PaperGator Recycling?  Recycle all of your newspapers, catalogs/magazines, junk mail, phone books, office/school paper, and hard and soft cover books and earn funds for our Council. Drop offs can be made anytime right here in our PaperGator bin. This is an easy way for you to recycle your paper every week and help us raise funds.
By recycling paper, not only do you save the environment and reduce waste in landfills, but our Council earns money for every pound of paper you help us collect. Please bring in your recyclable paper anytime from your homes or any other available sources and place it in the PaperGator® bin in our parking lot. Please do not include plastic, metal, trash, glass, cardboard, or paperboard (grocery item boxes).

Thank you for your continued support of this important fundraising effort.

Fall Fellowship and Vigil Weekend

Friday 09-21-2018 to Sunday 09-23-2018
Jamboree On the Air/Internet (JOTA/JOTI)
Jamboree-on-the-Air/Internet, or JOTA/JOTI, is the largest Scouting event in the world. It is held annually the third full weekend in October; specifically, October 19-21, 2018 this year. The event officially starts Friday evening during the JOTA Jump Start and runs through Sunday evening. Scouts and units can pick any time throughout the weekend to make contacts.
JOTA uses amateur radio to link Scouts and ham radio operators around the world and JOTI uses the internet. This jamboree requires no travel. Since there is no planned council or district events in our area this year, your unit might consider planning your own event during your annual program planning conference and tie it into an award or activity.

Visit www.scouting.org/jota/ or https://www.scouting.org/joti/quick-start-guides/ for additional information and program resources.

Greetings Scouters!
I would like to introduce a great new program at the Anthony Wayne Scout Reservation that allows Scouters, Alumni, units, and organizations to help continue to make our property a premiere camping destination for scouts throughout the Central Region. The Council leadership, Camping Committee, Properties Committee, and Summer Camp Leadership Team are always looking for ways to improve camp facilities and enhance our already diverse program. Here is your opportunity to become vested in the long-term sustainability of our camping program and to help make some of these great ideas become a reality!
