2020 Assessment Update:
Large & Special Purpose Property Engagement
As the 2020 Assessment Update approaches, MPAC is engaging with large and special purpose property owners, affected municipalities and stakeholders as part of our work to establish updated assessments for these properties.

In the months to come we will bring property owners, municipalities and stakeholders together with our assessors to share, consult and collaborate on key valuation parameters that will inform our assessments.

Host municipalities who receive a letter of intent are encouraged to participate in the engagement process. The assessment methodology and key market parameters discussed will help inform updated property values that will be in place for the 2021-2024 property tax years.
To learn more about our engagement plan, join our webinar for municipalities on Wednesday, September 4th at 1 p.m. or visit mpac.ca .
