New $15 Senior Resident Monthly Pass
Brampton Transit is pleased to announce a $15 discounted monthly pass for Brampton seniors.

If you’re a Brampton resident, 65 years or older, you can purchase this new pass beginning August 6 at all Brampton Transit terminals and facilities, and at temporary locations at City Hall and Gore Meadows Community Centre. To get the transit pass, Brampton seniors must have a valid Brampton Transit senior identification card and a PRESTO card. The pass is effective September 1, and allows unlimited travel for the calendar month. The $1 cash fare for Brampton seniors will also be available on PRESTO beginning September 1. Regular senior weekly and monthly passes will no longer be available.
 
Brampton Transit is committed to providing affordable transit, and serving one of the fastest growing cities in the country. Building on the Term of Council Priorities for Brampton 2040 Vision, staff will bring a report to Council during the 2020 budget process that will include options to implementing free fares for Brampton seniors. eBus coming to Brampton soon
The City of Brampton has secured $11.15 million in funding towards Phase 1 of a pilot project, which will test battery electric buses in Brampton.The breakthrough battery electric buses will be launched on two existing conventional routes in Brampton and will hit Brampton’s streets in late 2020/early 2021.
