one-year-old as a 501c3 and we want you to celebrate this important milestone with us! In case you're not too familiar with what we do here's a quick refresher of what we're all about:
MISSION: To advance reuse education through the arts.
CORE VALUES: To support cultural and environmental sustainability; to provide affordability and accessibility to the arts; to offer community education; and to foster creativity, green-style.
VISION: To increase reuse practices. Through programming, education and physical development, Spare Parts empowers citizens to reduce landfill tonnage through reuse and environmental accountability.

Spare Parts Selected as a Charity of Choice during San Japan Anime Convention
Spare Parts is pleased to announce that we've been selected as one of San Japan XII - 2019 Anime Convention's Charities of Choice on August 30-September 1.
San Japan will be hosting supply drives for participating charities. They will be collecting new and gently-used art supplies, and will also be accepting new and gently-used books appropriate for elementary and middle school students.
All San Japan Charities of Choice will also be equal beneficiaries of the silent auction, live auction, masquerade tickets, and other charitable endeavors.
Drop off any contributions at the San Japan Info Desk, Charity Booth, or SJ Cares Booth during the convention.

Exhibition Hours @ San Japan at Convention Center
Friday, August 30 | 12 p.m. - 11 p.m.
Saturday, August 31 | 10:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Sunday, September 1 | 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
* We're seeking volunteers to cover 4.5 hour shifts.

Mini Art Museum @ Fifth Friday Mixer
 Spare Parts' Mini Art Museum invites you to its 2019-20 Exhibition opening reception on Friday, August 30 from 6-8 p.m. at Carver Community Cultural Center's Fifth Friday's Music Mixer. Summer Highlight | Bubble Fest
On June 8, Spare Parts participated in Bubble Fest held at Ruby City's Chris Park. Bubble Fest was attended by 1,000 people making it the largest bubble celebration so far!
