Keeping Up On Alumni

Frank MerrillLawrence Central Class of 1966, is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Civil Air Patrol and commands the Titan Cadet Squadron at McKenzie Center for Innovation and Technology. This month Frank was recognized as the 2019 Aerospace Education Teacher of the Year at the National Civil Air Patrol conference in Baltimore, Maryland. Congratulations Frank! We are so proud of you and appreciate all you do for the kids. 

Patrick Loehrer Lawrence Central Class of 1971 , serves at the director of the IU Simon Cancer Center. The IU Simon Cancer Center was recently named a Comprehensive Cancer Care Center by the National Cancer Institute. This is the highest rating a cancer center can receive, and the Simon Cancer Center is one of only 51 in the nation to receive this distinction. Wow! This is quite an accomplishment. We are so proud of Dr. Loehrer for his leadership. Click here to read more. 
      
Barbara Miers , Lawrence North Class of 2006 ,  was recently sworn in as a deputy for the Hancock County Sheriff's Department. Prior to working at the Sheriff's Department, Barbara worked at the Marion County Jail for 11 years. Congratulations Barbara! We are so grateful to all our alumni in uniform and appreciate their service. To learn more, click here

David Geiger, Lawrence Central Class of 2007, joined Dalton Albertin , Lawrence Central Class of 2009, at LADD Dental Group in McCordsville. After graduating from LC, David attended DePauw University and then went on to the University of Louisville for dental school. Recently David and his wife relocated back so David can practice dentistry close to home. Thanks Dalton for making the connection. It is always good to welcome our alumni back home to Indiana. Branson Deen, Lawrence Central Class of 2018, was recently highlighted in an article discussing his versatility as a player on the Purdue University football team. Branson, a redshirted freshman, plays 4 different positions, and plays them all well. Check out the article and keep your eye on Branson Deen!
