Boys 2019 ENPL and National Cup XVIII Finals

The Elite boys program spent two weeks in Commerce City, Colo. for the 2019 ENPL Finals and the National Cup XVIII Finals held at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

Week One featured the Boys 2005's, 2004's, and 2003 ECNL teams who qualified for the ENPL finals after a week of playoffs in June. Both the Boys 2005's and the 2004's reached the National Championship Final. The 2005's reached the final after a 1-0 win in the semi-final, while the 2004's earned their place in the final by coming out on top in group play.

The 05's dominated in the national Championship final defeating CenCal Cosmos 5-1. The 04's finished as finalist falling to TSC Hurricanes 3-1.
Week Two, the boys 2006's, 2004's, and 2002's competed in the 2019 National Cup XVIII Finals. The 2006's won their first ever national title in their first appearance of the competition while the 2002's won it for the second consecutive year. The 2004's ended their season as finalists of the event.

Congratulations to Dino Delevski, Cleo Huitron, all the players, families and rest of the coaching staff on these tremendous accomplishments!
Introducing the Eclipse Select North Program

The Eclipse Select Soccer Club has agreed to an elite and youth development partnership with Spartan FC to establish Eclipse North.

As a result of the partnership, Eclipse Select added an Eclipse North location based out of Northbrook, Ill. This will be the third satellite location added to the club in the Greater Chicagoland area. Spartan FC will work hand-in-hand with Eclipse in the constant pursuit of furthering player growth and development. The club alliance will start at the beginning of the 2019/20 fall campaign.

Thirteen Eclipse Select Alumni scattered around the country will begin their first year of college this year looking to feature as "Impact Freshman" for the 2019 season.

Michele Fumagalli, is not only a dietitian, former professional/collegiate soccer player and 2018 Crossfit Games Competitor but an Eclipse Select alumni (player and coach). Michele helped the 1987/88 team win two national championships before having an outstanding career at the University of Notre Dame. We can’t forget to mention her being the original Flip Thrower as well.

Last month the Boys ECNL and Girls ECNL announced their annual All-Conference, Conference Player of the Year, and All-Americans for the the 2018-19 season. three Eclipse Select members were named this year with one of our very own awarded with All-American Honors.

Eclipse Select Challenge Cup 2019 Recap

The first of three club hosted events of the year saw 100 teams participate from all over the Midwest. This event was once again hosted at the Waukegan Sports Park. It is played as a extremely high-level preseason event that our Elite teams from 2008 through 2001 teams took part in.
