The Friends of Welles-Turner Memorial Library will hold its next book sale on Saturday, September 7 from 9am to 5pm on the front lawn of the library. Membership-copyrighted image
The Friends organization is always looking for more members to help provide supplemental funding for the library. They sponsor the popular Summer Reading program for children, teens and adults as well as purchase new books, eBooks, audio books, DVDs and CDs for the library.

The Friends also fund library technology expansion such as a 3D printer, color printers, scanners, computer workstations and updated audio system for use in the community room. You can become a member for as little as $10 a year. Those joining for the first time at the $25 level or higher receive a Friends membership tote bag, a coupon for use of the 3D printer and a Book Buck to be used at the spring or fall book sales. Payment can be made by check or through PayPal. Learn more by visiting the Friends website.
