Whole Health Connection
Ninety percent of disabilities are caused by illness, not accidents. 1  In many cases, employees get treated for an illness before a disability claim is filed. That could mean higher medical costs and disability costs. But we have a proactive solution that helps keep your employees at work or shorten their time away. It’s called
Whole Health Connection.
Help us help you! More members mean more opportunities to build your network! Send your leads in to the chamber for potential members, if your lead becomes a member, you receive a free exclusive e-mail ad (value $50).

State Ohio News
InnovateOhio and the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation announced the launch of a new survey tool for Ohio businesses to gather feedback ahead of the creation of the state’s new in-demand jobs list. Ohio is required to maintain an up-to-date In-Demand Jobs List. This list directs the spending of 85 percent of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) training funds. The survey was just launched last week, and it is open to all registered Ohio businesses, giving small and large businesses alike the opportunity to have a voice in how Ohio prepares people for the workforce in the coming years. The new in-demand jobs survey is available now to businesses at www.InDemand.Ohio.gov .
IRS continues campaign to encourage taxpayers to do a Paycheck Checkup; use Withholding Calculator to help get right amount for 2019
There are two ways taxpayers can check their withholding on IRS.gov

Taxpayers who haven’t done a Paycheck Checkup to check their withholding in 2019 should do one as soon as possible. The best and easiest way to do a checkup is to use the Withholding Calculator on IRS.gov. However, some taxpayers may need to use Publication 505 to check their withholding.
