After three years, our FOLMC Bookstore is returning home to the Wheaton Library and Community Recreation Center, which has recently undergone a multi-million dollar renovation.
Join us for the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sunday, September 8 at 2:00 P.M. Following the ceremony, the bookstore will be open for business. We will have the same great, high-quality books at affordable prices you have grown to love over our many years serving the community.

FOLMC hosts Vaddey Ratner, author of
In the Shadow of the Banyan
and
Music of the Ghosts,
and invites you to join us on a journey to discover the unbreakable bonds of family, and the power of stories to transcend loss and suffering. Ratner’s novels are based on her family’s experiences as descendants of King Sisowath during the time of the Khmer Rouge, escape to a new world, and a fictionalized take on returning to your home country, still trying to heal from its past.
This event is the opening lecture of the F. Scott Literary Festival, featuring Amy Tan. The Festival also includes writer-led workshops and book signings. Purchase tickets and

Seasoned Spellers Senior Spelling Bee

Adults, aged 55 years and over, are invited to participate in FOLMC's 9th Senior Spelling Bee, now with a new team format. This event is free and open to the public to watch. Contestants are encouraged to invite friends and family to cheer them on.
Pre-registration and $50 non-refundable team fee required to participate. Teams should consist of three (3) participants. Register
