Call for Executive Committee Nominations Self-nominations are invited from active HUPO members with professional experience in the educational, research, or commercial activities related to the purposes of HUPO, to serve 2-year terms as treasurer or member-at-large (2 positions) on the HUPO Executive Committee, commencing January 2021. Nominations will be elected by Council vote. For more information and to apply, view, complete and submit the HUPO Executive Committee Self Nomination Form with a photo of yourself, by August 31, 2020.

2020 HUPO Council Elections The Nominations and Elections Committee of HUPO has announced the official slate of candidates for the 2020 HUPO Council election. The election period for HUPO Council is September 21-October 18, 2020. All active HUPO members will receive an email containing online voting instructions on September 21.

The Early Career Researcher Manuscript Competition Finalists The Early Career Researcher initiative is proud to announce the three finalists of the annual HUPO Manuscript Competition, which will highlight the Proteomics highlights of the year! This year’s finalists are: Marian Kalocsay (Harvard University), Maria Robles (Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich) and Jakob Trendel (German Cancer Research Center). Glycosylation is a Common Modification of Human Proteins By Yuanwei Xu and Hui Zhang, Center for Biomarker Discovery & Translation, Johns Hopkins University Yuanwei is an aspiring young scientist dedicated to deciphering the relationship between glycoproteomics and pathological intricacies. Her passion includes transforming the scientific findings from glycoproteomics, single-molecule protein sequencing and glycotransferase engineering into applications such as diagnostics.
