As a friendly reminder, no in-person events will occur with PAN APICS through the end of 2020; however, we do have some exciting virtual events that we would love to see you all at!

Our board is committed to helping our members through this pandemic. For our members who have been furloughed or who now find themselves unemployed due to COVID-19, we are pleased to offer a 3-month membership to Korn Ferry Advance, ASCM's career coaching partner, to the first 10 successful applicants. Janet Hillier Scholarship Timeline Extended until October 31st
The PAN-APICS Chapter is proud to present the Janet Hillier Scholarship. This scholarship has been created in memoriam of former PAN-APICS volunteer, Janet Hillier. A volunteer for over 30 years, Janet was a fixture on the PAN APICS Board of Directors, in the classroom as an educator, and at PAN-APICS events. The PAN-APICS chapter and our members are forever indebted to her for her time spent advancing supply chain and operations management with the APICS name in this region. Janet passed suddenly in 2015 and will forever be missed.

PAN-APICS encourages students to pursue higher education towards furthering their career in Supply Chain Management. The Janet Hillier Scholarship will award $2,500 towards any educational expenses, including books & supplies to one student per year. The winner of the Scholarship will be selected by the PAN-APICS Board of Directors and will be announced on November 30th. Funds will be dispersed directly to the student and can be used towards any educational expenses, and not restricted to tuition only.

Please submit all applications to the PAN APICS Executive Vice President at VP-EXEC@PAN-APICS.ORG. Submissions should include the application, one page essay, copy of the student resume, and transcript. The letter of recommendation must be submitted directly by the faculty member to the same email address. Applications open on March 1, 2020 and the submission deadline is October 31, 2020.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Applicant must be pursuing a degree in or related to Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Transportation.
  • Must be a full-time student enrolled at an accredited college, university or junior college with a graduation date of 2021 or later.
  • Must be a student member of PAN APICS (can register through for free).
  • Minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Must attach the most recent school transcript.
  • Applicant must complete the 2020 Janet Hillier Scholarship application.
  • Must submit a copy of student resume.
  • Faculty member must submit one letter of recommendation directly to VP-EXEC@PAN-APICS.ORG.
  • Must submit a one page essay submission (250 to 500 words) on an explanation of your goals and desired roles in supply chain management and how this scholarship will help you.

CPIM- Certification in Production Inventory Management

CSCP - Certified Supply Chain Professional
The premier certification for end-to-end supply chain, the CSCP offers the opportunity to master the extended supply chain, from organizations’ suppliers through to the end customers. This is more of a "10,000 foot view" of the supply chain in comparison to the CPIM.

The APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) program is the first and only supply chain certification that encompasses the end-to-end global supply chain. APICS CSCP designees gain the skills to effectively manage global supply chain activities that involve suppliers, plants, distributors, and customers located around the world.
