NAMI SUSSEX FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP
NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE VIA ZOOM
We have been experimenting for the past several months with holding a NAMI Family Support Group on Zoom. Until now, we have been limiting the invitation to those who have taken our Family-to-Family course, but we recently decided to open it up to any family caregiver on our email list. This seems especially important during this time of social distancing when we can no longer offer our monthly family support group live at Newton Medical Center.

The Zoom family support group will meet on the third Tuesday of every month, 7:00-9:00 p.m. until such time as we are able to meet in person again. Everyone on our email list will receive a reminder and instructions how to register for the group the Wednesday or Thursday before. The co-facilitators of the group are Annette Hoffman and Charles Cantelmo.

Please keep in mind that this group is only for family members (or close friends in a caretaking role) who have a loved one with a mental illness. We can refer anyone seeking a peer support group for individuals living with a mental health condition to NAMI New Jersey's online NAMI Connection groups (see Other Free Online Support Groups below).
