Mayor's Message
It’s hard to believe summer is almost over. I want to thank everyone for their cooperation during this unusual time. Although the Pasadena Rodeo and several major events have been scaled back or even canceled, we are hoping this fall brings healing and normalcy to our City.

As Pasadena families make Back-to-School plans, we’re excited to announce our 3rd annual Fill the Bus school supply drive is still on the calendar. Due to Coronavirus precautions, the event will look a bit different this year, starting with a move to the Pasadena Convention Center. This year’s location change will allow more room for contactless drop-off. Supplies collected will go directly to teachers so that they can make the best use of these items whether students are in the classroom or learning from home. Thank you again for your support as we navigate through this unprecedented time. Pasadena continues to stay strong because of the great folks who make up our community. God Bless you, your family and God Bless Pasadena.

Pasadena Chamber Continues to Grow
Despite the economic uncertainty surrounding the pandemic, Pasadena businesses have rallied together and supported our community. Recently, Mayor Wagner joined the Chamber and 19 new members as they participated in a virtual ribbon-cutting ceremony. The Bridge Over Troubled Waters – Youth Center Project
The City of Pasadena recently facilitated a $1 million HUD grant that was awarded to The Bridge Over Troubled Waters. This Community Development Block Grant will help build a new Children and Youth Center. This facility will be equipped to provide domestic violence recovery services for children and teens. The Bridge Over Troubled Waters has been helping victims of family violence and sexual assault since 1978.
Documenting Drainage Improvements
Media crews from the Texas General Land Office will be in town this month to produce two mini documentaries on recent drainage upgrades in Pasadena. My administration directed engineers from the City of Pasadena Public Works department to begin spearheading these projects in late 2017/early 2018 and they obtained substantial grant funding from the State of Texas. The rehabilitation of one of the city’s sanitary sewer treatment plants is already complete. Construction for drainage improvements near Partnership Park and a detention pond in Golden Acres will begin soon.
