Summer Reading Ends This Month!
Summer is the perfect time to dive into some great books! Why not get rewarded for it with our Summer Reading Program?

Summer Reading runs through through August 15th so let's get reading!

We have reading logs on our website for both Independent Readers and Read-to-Me Readers ! We also have Summer Reading for Adults and Tweens and Teens !

Independent readers are part of the Vacation Reading Club and are asked to read 8 hours. The Read-to-Me readers are asked to listen to 20 books.


Print out the reading logs and keep track of your progress. You may either submit the form (forms can be dropped off on our curbside pickup table) or take a picture for prize redemption! Prizes may be picked up in the beginning of September.

We've launched our Summer Reading Program with some fun ScienceTeller videos! Visit our website to check them out!
Curbside Pickup Details
  • Hours are Monday through Saturday 10 am – 1 pm
  • Patrons may call the library at 732-747-9649 to place holds for items or by using our online catalog. 
  • Holds are available for items owned by the Little Silver Library and the Monmouth County Library.
  • Patrons will receive a call when their item is available and will be held up to three days. 
  • Patrons are asked to call the library at 732-747-9649 to arrange for front table pickup.
  • All items must be returned in the bookdrop and shall be quarantined for 3 days for everyone’s safety.

Monmouth Museum Is Open!
We are so happy to announce that the Nilson and Main Galleries of the Monmouth Museum are now open! The Little Silver Library has free passes to the museum for patron use. Just call 732-747-9649 to reserve your passes!

Hours are Thursdays and Fridays 10 am - 5 pm.

Book Drop
Our book drop is open if you want to return your books! Please only drop off library books. We cannot accept book donations at this time!
