Legacy Gift of Memorial Trees and Plants Beautifies the GCCCT
"I am personally gratified to support the vital work of the Fairfax County Park Foundation to enhance the Gerry Connolly Cross County Trail (GCCCT). Through the donation to this bedrock community organization, I am pleased to honor the memory of my late aunt, who valued daily walks throughout Fairfax County, and beyond. The new trees and plantings provide a verdant, permanent improvement to the GCCCT that trail users and native species can enjoy for the foreseeable future. It’s imperative to take daily breaks for health and well-being. Walks along the CCT can provide that outlet locally for Fairfax residents and visitors.”
