School bells are ringing –
I certainly hope that this school year, our KMB Affiliates that have the opportunity to visit the classrooms to make presentations and will take full advantage. Our Waste In Place Curriculum guide is a wonderful resource for class presentation ideas and as always, we are willing to share this with you. Our children need to be reminded what a beautiful state and community they live in and how to take care of it. Our children are our resource for keeping our state clean and green and it is up to all of us to teach them.
In the next few weeks, you will be hearing our new PSAs across the state on SuperTalk radio. Also be sure to be on the lookout for our billboard messaging with Lamar Advertising.
August 1st was a celebrated time for many of our affiliates, as I am so proud of our local affiliates that completed all of your annual reports. I know this is not an easy task – but as I always – accountability should be at the top of all our goals.
Neeley and I recently enjoyed meeting many of the new Mayors and City Council members in our communities during the Mississippi Municipal League Annual Conference. We appreciate your support toward your local Keep Mississippi Beautiful Affiliate.
I am saddened that our Keep MS/AL Beautiful conference has been postponed, but I know this is the best decision for everyone’s health and welfare. Everyone who has made reservations, please cancel your room.
