Sign-Up to Volunteer for the 2021 Day of Action!
The 2021 Day of Action will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the Communities in Schools Office (located at 410 Linden Street, Lincolnton, NC) and the West ARC (Asbury Resource Center) (located inside West Lincoln Middle School).

We need volunteers at the Communities in Schools Office between 1pm-4pm to sort and organize school supplies, collected during the Stuff the Bus campaign, to be used by Lincoln County staff and students as needed during the 2021-2022 school year. Volunteers will be working in the School Supply Closet located at the CIS Office.

We need volunteers at the West ARC between 1pm-3pm to organize and stock non-perishable food items and school supplies, collected during the Stuff the Bus campaign, to be distributed to students in need during the 2021-2022 school year. Volunteers will be working in the Resource Center located at West Lincoln Middle School.

Get involved and help bless students and families in Lincoln County! Hope to see you at the 2021 United Way of Lincoln County Day of Action!

Could you or someone you know benefit from FREE over-the-counter medicine? Atrium Health is sponsoring a FREE NC MedAssist mobile pharmacy event on August 20 from 9am-2pm. Online ordering is strongly encouraged!

Jordan Frye, Vice Board Chair
Jordan has served in the capacity of volunteer, allocations chair, secretary, board member, partner and supporter, and representative for Atrium Health for the United Way of Lincoln County. Jordan is a highly effected leader in our community and has gained the respect of individuals, board members, business professionals, non-profits and others all across Lincoln County. 
​​​​​​​Jordan Frye began her career at Lincoln Medical Center, where she held positions in Volunteer Services, Marketing, and Community Relations. While working in the Community Relations department, she found her passion in helping others. Now, as a Senior Associate in the Community Engagement and Corporate Social Responsibility department for Atrium Health she lives her passion to serve others in Gaston, Lincoln, Cleveland and Rutherford Counties. She is grateful to work for Atrium Health where she can support the mission to serve all. Jordan is a graduate of Western Carolina University with a BS in Communications. She is a graduate of Leadership Lincoln County and Leadership Cleveland County. She currently serves as vice-chair for United Way of Lincoln County, a board member for the Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce, serves on the Lincoln County Partnership for Health, Lincoln County Schools School Health Advisory Council and the Lincoln County Drug Prevention Council. Jordan is a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor for youth and adults with a goal to help educate more than 1,000 people in the community. Jordan was the past recipient of the Christina Arlow Faith Service Commitment Award for United Way of Lincoln County and last year received the Elliot Beal Award for her professional leadership in United Way. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family - husband, John and two children, Taylor and Colby. She enjoys watching her children participate in sports, reading, being outdoors and walking their miniature schnauzer. Jordan attends First Baptist Church, Maiden where she serves on the youth and social committees.
