Greetings!
Welcome to the August 2021 newsletter...we hope this email finds you doing very well!
We'll start with the most important topic of the year...logistics. Unfortunately, the congestion in our nation's ports continues to be a significant issue....for us and any global business. As our forwarders try to find faster options, we too are working on new logistics partnerships that may cut down on the transit time.
Thank you all for your continued patience as we make adjustments. As always, we are hopeful for normalcy in the future, but honestly do not expect anything to change anytime soon regarding how long it takes for our products to reach our Memphis warehouse. We are however, very thankful for an on-time factory schedule when many other model companies are experiencing dramatic slow downs.
We are now in our busy season! Releases are in full swing as we launch a new model every Friday...most likely from now through February 2022. We slowed down our release schedule in the past few months to compensate for longer inbound transit times, but should be consistent for the next 6 months. Although we can only project our releases one month at a time, we encourage our customers to get ready...good things are coming!
A new category has been added this past month. Visit the Low Stock Category to see all the models that are soon to be added to the sold out archives. But don't delay, as they tend to sell quickly when they get down to 10 or less in stock.
This Friday we'll release a very limited production of the 1983-85 Seagrave rear mounts for 7 FDNY Ladder Companies. We expect these to be full reserved very quickly.
This month we'll also release the 1954 FWD 85' Tillers for three Chicago Hook & Ladder Companies, as well as O'Hare Engines 9 and 10. Rounding out August, we'll also see four 1969 Mack R Engine/Salvage Companies. We do not expect any of these to last long, so we encourage you to mark your calendars.
Read on for updates on best sellers, new and pending arrivals, new releases and more.
And as always, thank you for being part of the elite group of Fire Replicas collectors.
