WELCOME BACK ETHAN VAUGHN

Ethan grew up playing soccer and baseball in Spokane, WA. He picked up tennis as an 11-year-old and hasn’t looked back. Ethan played D1 tennis at the University of Montana, graduating in 2014. He helped lead the Griz to their first-ever conference championship and NCAA Tournament appearance. In 2013/2014, he had the fortune of moving to beautiful Jackson Hole and stayed there for a summer and then a year, working at Teton Pines Country Club. Ethan moved to Seattle in 2015 and taught at Central Park Tennis Club for six years. During his time at CPTC, he received his USPTA certification and USPTA Elite certification. He had a chance to lead and work with all levels of the junior program. He is so excited to move back to Montana and experience Missoula from a new perspective!

Ethan met his wonderful wife, Michael Ann, as a freshman at UM. They are expecting their first child in September of 2021. When Ethan is not coaching, he enjoys following many sports, especially the Seattle Mariners and Seattle Seahawks. He also loves the outdoors and any opportunity to play sports, hike, and relax in nature.

Ethan’s athletic achievements include University of Montana Scholar-Athlete of the Year, First Team All-Big Sky Conference, Second Team All-Big Sky Conference, Honorable Mention All-Big Sky Conference, NCAA Team Tournament Appearance.
