BIA Cares Launches New Fundraiser
This year BIA Cares has selected Urban Street Angels to be the recipient of a $10,000 grant. Urban Street Angels provides housing and education for transitional youth in San Diego. Defined: “transitional youth” are 18-24 years old, and without intervention, 50% will become chronically homeless. Urban Street Angels takes kids off the streets, gives them a job, trains them in life skills and helps them transition into stable housing.

BIA Installation Dinner, a Beautiful Evening |

On August 14th, over 600 BIA members gathered at the InterContinental Hotel to celebrate the 2021 Installation Dinner. Rescheduled from the original January date, it was worth the wait! The theme of "Thinking Back, While Looking Forward: The Future of Home" was beautifully displayed throughout the evening in the amazing videos that were shown and inspiring speeches from new CEO Lori Holt Pfeiler, Chairman Alex Plishner, and San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria. New Home Gallery Opening This Month at

BUILD SD PAC's "Return of the PAC" Fundraiser Great Success |
Last night, over 50 BUILD SD PAC Donors gathered at the beautiful Paradise Point Island Lawn for a successful evening of networking and fundraising. We were joined by Supervisor Joel Anderson, Council President Pro Tem Stephen Whitburn, Councilmember Marni von Wilpert, Councilmember Colin Parent, and Councilmember Keith Blackburn.
