Shane Lansdown is the owner and founder of Big Rock Foods, an Oklahoma-based seasoning and sauce company. Shane's in-house brand is called Payne County Rust Seasonings. Payne County Rust, Gold, Bird, Chili, Hog's Bane, Hog's Bane Habanero, Oklahoma-Style Marinade, Thorn Hot Sauce, Habanero Ketchup and Sweet Beets have been developed by Shane as a cook, craftsman, BBQ competitor and caterer.

Shane takes great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of his products and works endlessly toward keeping the bar set very high for retail customers, as well as his hundreds of coast-to-coast storekeepers, shop owners, grocery stores and distributors.

Grape Cultivars for Oklahoma Wine - William McGlynn, Horticultural Processing Specialist

Discussions and planning have continued with Aaron Essary, OSU Extension grape and wine specialist, as part of applied research projects involving grapes from the research vineyard in Perkins.

Chemical and color analyses of grape wine samples made from Chambourcin, Rubaiyat and Norton grape cultivars grown in Perkins are set to commence on these samples once ageing is completed.
