CITE provides CSPA database training at no cost! Each module focuses on one topic, and lasts one hour. Modules can be taken consecutively, or on different dates depending on your schedule. Note: Modules one and two are mandatory before you'll be given login credentials to access the database.

Understanding the CA-NDPA: An in-depth explanation of the contract, as well as how and why it was created.

Module 2

The CSPA Database: What is the Alliance? How does it help my LEA to gain compliance with Student Privacy?

Next Steps: A hands-on, step-by-step tutorial of how to use the site to add, maintain and update your contracts.

Who is your professional idol?

I don't have a professional idol, but my grandfather was my hero. He built computers, played video games every day, and was the hub for our family. I learned everything from him. He taught me to cook and to love food.

What is your favorite part about hosting the Podcast?

I really enjoy spotlighting talent and perspective. I also love the moments when we can teach and learn from each other. I am in awe of the people we get to chat with and have to check my imposter syndrome.

Josetti Fields was the best boss that I have ever had, because she was knowledgeable, empathetic, and protective of her team. I strive to emulate those same qualities as I lead my team under my leadership.

What is your favorite part about hosting the Podcast?

Listening. I enjoy in listening to other peoples' stories. Podcasts give a long form for having conversations with people I may or may not know.
