In August, we reached the end of our summer season. Schools are back in session, and more people are heading back to the office. Still, plenty of people are looking for a fun experience with family and friends - either on the weekend or for the half-term holidays that are just around the corner.

This month, we saw a flurry of announcements across the GCC about surging tourist numbers, innovative and groundbreaking attractions, and increasing investment in the industry. Around the world, our members are using cutting-edge technology, including VR, to develop brand new experiences for customers. There’s also lots of discussion about how NFTs, the Metaverse, and blockchain will create a brand new world for leisure and attractions.
