Remembering Bob and Marjorie Lundegard
You'll find no greater example of the can-do spirit demonstrated by two local members of the Greatest Generation, Robert 'Bob' and Marjorie Lundegard, as pictured together at Colvin Run Mill years ago. While they are dearly missed by fellow board members, volunteers, staff and park visitors, the results of their passionate volunteer efforts live on at this Fairfax County Park Authority historic site!

These sensational seniors spent their golden years volunteering and supporting the preservation and fundraising efforts for Colvin Run Mill so those future generations can learn from yesterday's innovation. It is the sole surviving operational 19th-century water-powered mill in the DC area. Tens of thousands of people per year visit and learn about this technological innovation and the social legacy of its working class.

Learn more about the legacy that they left as described in their FCPF donor profile.

If you are inspired by the good work of Bob & Marjorie, FCPF welcomes your gift to help Colvin Run Mill. Click here to make a donation with a note of the Colvin Run Mill designation.
