ORIENTATION DAYS & FIRST DAY OF CLASSES
Parents of students who are new to Trinity School this year are invited to New Parent Orientation on Thursday, August 18. Join us from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. for an overview of helpful information to start the school year, Q&A, and light refreshments.

We will see all students, grades 6-12, at All-School Orientation, Tuesday, August 23. Please have your child arrive in uniform at 8:30 a.m. to set up his or her locker. The day will end at noon, but students in grades 7-11 who are new to Trinity School this year, will stay for lunch (which will be provided) and an additional orientation time ending at 1:00 p.m. We will send a separate email with more information.

The first day of regular classes begins at 8:05 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24. The Locketeria opens at 7:30 a.m.
START-OF-SCHOOL REMINDERS
DROP-OFF & PICK-UP
Please use the west side (southbound) parking lane on Greenlawn Avenue during drop-off and pick-up. Avoid double-parking, dropping students off on the opposite side of the street (so that they have to cross the street during busy traffic times to reach campus), and parking on the east side of the street. Pedestrian traffic during school arrival and dismissal times is not safe, and limiting school-related traffic to the west/southbound side of Greenlawn Avenue is also a courtesy to our neighbors.

Students whose last name begins with the letter A-L should be picked up between the drive-in gate and the pedestrian gate on Greenlawn. Students whose last name begins with the letter M-Z should be picked up to the south of the pedestrian gate on Greenlawn (toward Jefferson). Students who are part of a carpool should wait in the location of their driver's last name. Senior parking is between the drive-in gate and Colfax Avenue. Junior parking and senior overflow is on Esther Street starting at Jefferson heading north.

DAILY SCHEDULE

7:30 a.m. Locketeria opens
7:40 a.m. Faculty are available to meet with students
8:05 a.m. Morning Prayer
12:30-1:00 p.m. Lunch and recess

STUDY HALL
Our first Study Hall will begin on Thursday, August 25. Study Hall is from 3:30-5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. When picking up your child from Study Hall, you will need to use the side door on the north side of the building (near the bike rack and up the steps) as our front office staff will not be available after office hours to let you in the front entrance of the School. Study Hall ends promptly at 5:00 p.m.

ABSENCES, TARDIES, AND EARLY DEPARTURE
If your child is going to be late or absent, please inform the front office as soon as possible (preferably by 8:15 a.m. on the day of the absence) by emailing tsgloffice@trinityschools.org. If your child is going to leave at any time during the day before 3:00 p.m., please have him or her bring a parent note stating the time of departure to Morning Prayer, to be signed by the dean. When it is time to leave, your child may wait at the front office for a parent to either come inside for pick-up, or call the front office from the front of the school.

WATER BOTTLES & EATING UTENSILS
Students will need to bring their own water bottles to school every day, as well as any eating utensils needed for lunch. The front office will no longer have cups or disposable eating utensils available.

REGISTER YOUR STUDENT DRIVER
Congratulations to all of our new student drivers! If your child is a first-time driver this year we will need some information on file, namely, the driver's name, car make, model, and color, as well as license plate number. If a repeat driver plans on using a different car this year, we will also need you to update his or her information. Click through to our online form to submit this information.
FAMILY FUN NIGHT
Please join us for Family Fun Night at the Trinity School Athletic Center on August 29, from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m.. There will be plenty of space for picnics on the lawn, and activities for all ages. Stay tuned for more details via email. Our girls' varsity and junior varsity soccer teams will compete in their first matches of the season, so we will also be cheering for the Trinity Titans! Bear in mind that the intersection of Douglas Road and Ironwood is closed through November and you will need to take an alternate route if you are coming from anywhere south of Douglas Road.
SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST
Here is our 2022-23 school year Supply List with all of the school supplies your student will need before the start of the school year.
UPDATE YOUR CONTACT INFO
If you have moved or if any of your contact information has changed, please let us know so that we can include your updated information in the 2022-23 Directory. Email the front office at tsgloffice@trinityschools.org.
VOLUNTEER NEEDS
We are off to a great start with meeting our volunteer needs for the 2022-23 school year. If you haven't signed up to volunteer yet, please visit the SignUpGenius list and find an event that works with your schedule. We ask that families serve at a minimum of two events during the course of the school year. In October our staff will review the list and reach out to any families who have not yet signed up with volunteer assignments.
UNIFORM DISCOUNT CODE
Our uniform supplier is offering a 10% discount during the week of August 1-7. Trinity School families are also invited to look through our collection of gently used, free school uniforms (available in Room 3 during regular office hours). Here's a quick link to the 2022-23 dress code, which is also available on the Parent page of the website.
LUAU
Save the date for the annual Luau party for ninth through twelfth graders. This will take place on August 27, from 8:00 - 10:30 p.m. in the outdoor pavilion at the Trinity School Athletic Center.
