We have several events coming up that we’re extremely excited about — starting off with our Annual General Membership Meeting, then our Fourth Annual Pro-Am Golf Tournament, and closing out the Pride season with our 2nd Annual Ken Jones Commemorative Awards Reception.
On Saturday, September 10, from 12 Noon until 4:00 PM, at the San Francisco LGBTQI+ Community Center (1800 Market Street, Second Floor – Rainbow Room), we’ll be holding our Annual General Membership Meeting. You will get a chance to meet and query our candidates vying for the 2022-2025 term on the Board of Directors, as well as learn about the 2023 Themes being suggested. Members in good standing (active and their dues paid by July 11) will be able to vote on both over the 72 hours post-meeting. The meeting will be hybrid and offer Zoom for those who prefer to attend remotely. Although the meeting is free, we would love RSVPs (see the button below) so we can make sure we have enough seats for everyone planning to physically attend.
A month later, join us for our Fourth Annual Pro-Am Golf Tour event, starting with a reception on Friday, October 7, taking place at the Fairmont Hotel and featuring our second annual "Courage in Golf" award, then join us out at TCP Harding Park on Saturday, October 8 for 18 holes of fun! Teams of four will include one pro each for a spirited round of golf. There will also be a silent auction and a hole-in-one competition. (More information will also be featured at sfpride.org/golf).
Then on October 20, we will honor several local heroes at our Second Annual Ken Jones Awards event taking place in Cityscape atop the Union Square Hilton San Francisco. Join us in the celebration with fabulous food, beverages, and music for a night out with fun people and fantastic views. More on that as we get closer to the event.
