Your Off-to-College Green & Healthy Checklist - Project Green Schools
For those of you heading off to college, a new phase in your life, there are so many things you can do to develop sustainable habits to take good care of yourself and the planet.
It’s truly important to make the time and exert the effort, too. The average college student produces 640 pounds of solid waste each year, the equivalent of 500 disposable cups and 320 pounds of paper. That’s only the tip of the iceberg when you think about plastic and other waste, energy use, and much more.
Plus, you need to take care of yourself so you can learn and have some fun, too.
