Greeting everyone,

As the summer season comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on all the exciting events that took place this past month.

Our annual canoe race on August 6th was a success and we want to extend a big thank you to everyone who sponsored and participated in the event. Without your support, we wouldn't be able to continue hosting such fun and engaging activities. 

There was one minor mishap. Apparently, the President's partner was out of balance and the President's canoe went over. Always surprises and lots of fun!!!

We held a ribbon cutting ceremony for The Woodward Children's Center for the opening of their new Sports Complex.

What an amazing accomplishment!

We also had a fantastic luncheon at Bracco's. Legislature Chris Carini made a guest appearance to update us on the affairs of Nassau County.

Our guest speakers, Account Executive Linda Kurtz at Newsday Media Group and Thomas Napoli Sales Manager of Digital Advertising Services at Newsday, shared some valuable strategies on the current trends and digital products to reach more qualified leads for your businesses. We hope that everyone who attended found the event as informative and enjoyable as we did.

We are excited to announce our 24th annual golf outing on Tuesday, September Tuesday 26, where we are honoring Nassau County Police Chief Pat Ryder. So Mark your calender! You won't want to miss it!

We'd like to extend a huge thank you to The Community Church of Nazarene for their generosity in providing us with wonderful tote bags. It's always heartwarming to see our community members come together to support each other, especially during these difficult times. We are grateful to have a faith-based church as a member of our community. Thank you again for your thoughtfulness and kindness!
