Know Child Abuse

Join us September 27th at 7:30am for a complimentary training to equip you with the tools to recognize, reduce and report child abuse and neglect in our community. Light refreshments will be provided. Registration is required. Email prevention2@gulfcoastkidshouse.org or call 850.595.0384 to register.

Kid's Musical Market

A pilot music therapy program designed for the whole family! A licensed music therapist leads families through making their own musical instrument and then through a music therapy exercise. This event coincides with the Palafox Market for 4 Saturdays beginning September 9th on the 3rd floor of the Rex theatre from 10 - 11am.

Waiting to be a Waitress

August 25-27th

This fundraiser is headlined by the premier of “Waiting to be a Waitress”, a one act musical comedy dinner theater written by Pensacola songwriter Ross Orenstein and California playwright Jerome Elliot Moskowitz. This special three-night only fundraiser will be held at The Gordon, 306 N. DeVilliers St. This show is almost completely sold out - get your tickets now!

Bearded Villains Beard Competition

September 9th 5:30 - 10pm

The Bearded Villains Emerald Coast are hosting a beard competition at Coastal County Brewing. Bring your best beard and enjoy a fun family evening. There will be raffles, drink specials, and even a face painter! 100% of the proceeds will go to Gulf Coast Kid's House so please go support the cause at this fun event!

Dragon Boat Festival

September 30th

The 9th Annual Dragon Boat Festival hosted by Northeast Pensacola Sertoma Club will be held on September 30th starting at 8am. Sponsors and teams are still needed! Want to sponsor the event or compete in the race? Click the link below for more information on this exciting event!

Seville Rotary Arrogant Steak Cook-off

October 13th

Seville Rotary's annual steak cook-off will be hosted at Seville on the evening of October 13th. Keep your eyes out for more information on teams and tickets!

Semper Fi 5K Run

October 28th

39th Annual MCL/TEL Semper Fi 5K will be October 28th at 8am at Gulfside Pavillion. Registration ends October 26th. Gulf Coast Kid's House will be one of the beneficiaries of this event if you'd like to support in an active way.

Brunch and Bubbles

October 29th 11am - 1pm

Gulf Coast Kid's House largest annual fundraiser, Brunch and Bubbles, will be October 29th at 11am. Thank you to our Presenting Sponsors, Sandy Sansing Dealerships, Portofino Island Resort, and Premier Island Management Group.

Child Protective Investigators - Department of Children & Families

69 New investigations of child sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, or neglect initiated by the DCF investigators located within Gulf Coast Kid's House.

119 Child victims identified in Gulf Coast Kid's House based DCF reports.


Child Protection Team - Gulf Coast Kid's House

60 Children assessed by the Child Protection Team (CPT) based out of GCKH.

57 Forensic medical examinations provided.


Sexual/Physical Abuse Treatment Program - Lutheran Services Florida

201 Therapy sessions attended by children and non-offending caregivers through LSF.

16 Children referred to LSF for treatment in response to sexual/physical abuse.

After 10+ years, our beloved Paula Doty has retired, and Amy is now officially our Prevention Specialist! Amy will be visiting schools and businesses to share our programs for child safety and abuse prevention. Contact Amy to educate your school, work, church, or organization!
