What's New?

We are still collecting your stories...but not everyone likes to write so now you have the additional options of submitting a video or booking an interview.

Why are we collecting stories? Our Network is writing a white paper which will be presented to various Alberta government ministers and education agencies in an effort to improve access to identification, services and resources for children and adults with Learning Disabilities & ADHD. They need to better understand how current policies are not always meeting your needs - we'll use statistics but need your stories to make them real.

Tell your story...it can even be anonymous!

Each of her four children (now grown and thriving) has dealt with one or more mental health challenges, and Douglas shares what she has learned about coping with the emotional roller coaster, finding the best treatments, helping kids manage their symptoms and succeed academically, and keeping the family strong."
