A lifelong resident of Hattiesburg, MS. Bobby began painting at a young age and continued to paint throughout his life, even through his career. He now spends all of his free time at his studio , located deep in the woods, on the banks of Black Creek in South Mississippi.

Literary artist, Valerie Winn, spent part of her August days reading from her latest novel at a fundraiser in Ocean Springs. Also, signing books and meeting best-selling authors at the Mississippi Book Festival was a treat with the highlight being serving on a panel at the State Capitol with the Dogwood Press Team.
