A fresh new look for Ohio DC


Ohio Deferred Compensation is always innovating to stay up-to-date in today's financial world. For that reason, we are evolving our look.


The first thing you will notice is our distinctive new logo at the top of this page. A lot of thought went into its design, and we love how it incorporates components of the Ohio state flag.


There will be additional enhancements to our forms, communications, and website. While our look will change, Ohio DC continues to be the same plan you know and trust.

For any questions regarding your employer account or billing statement, please contact the Ohio DC Finance department at Finance@ohiodc.org for the quickest response. They can also be reached by phone at 614-466-7245, option 4.


Please note that creating a case on the Ohio Business Gateway should be reserved for technical issues regarding the Gateway, not specific Ohio DC account-related information.

Employer Engagement Matters


Employers who promote and show an interest in their employee’s financial wellness typically show greater employee productivity and engagement.


Financial stress hurts productivity. As you can imagine, those who are struggling to manage day-to-day financial obligations might be the same folks who have inadequately prepared for retirement. Therefore, they continue to work longer than their mind and/or body are able because they can’t survive on their pension alone.


What do you tell your employees about retirement savings with Ohio DC? In our experience, employers who actively promote retirement savings and make it part of their orientation, wellness fairs, benefits literature, etc. have a much greater participation rate than those who simply post it to their HR website and let employees discover it on their own.
