NOTES FROM LORI
Welcome to the August Issue of our newsletter! We plan all year for CoWorking Month and are excited to show you how much we appreciate our over 1700 members with the events, special offers, educational opportunities and contests we've planned. Did somebody say double referral month?! I especially want to invite each and every one of you to our annual summer party which is being held at Minnetonka OffiCenter on August 10. Join us for barbeque and networking at the outdoor patio on the lower level of the building. Rain or shine, let’s get together and celebrate our Work Awesome Community.
I ask all of you for a favor this week! Please take a minute to fill out the OffiCenter survey. Anyone who completes a survey will have a chance to win $250 and you'll be helping your OC team members who are also in a contest. Our goal is to capture information that will help us develop new programs for the future. Thanks in advance for your participation.
July was a tough month for me. I spent time in the hospital and in recovery from a medical procedure and all I can say is no fun! Thank goodness the warm weather allowed me to spend recovery time on my patio. The outdoors can help heal your body and soul. I also went to lunch with our OffiCenter Mayor Mr. Bud Sandberg to say goodbye and wish him well as he moves to Naples, Florida. My heart was heavy to see him go, but he deserves the best and I'm happy he is heading to a life of golf and sun. I know we will miss seeing him at our events. Even though I'll be on the lookout for his successor, no one will ever replace Mr. Bud in my book.
There are plenty of opportunities to run into each other this month. Thursday, we will host the Chamber's Good Morning Woodbury breakfast networking. Our super sized Social Hour is one week later, on the patio at Minnetonka. Every location will host a Thirsty Thursday Happy Hour on August 17 and Slice of Woodbury makes its return the following week. Finally, hop on the Zoom session that will be led by podcast guru, Eric Brooker. I encourage you to get in and meet your neighbors at one of these events! And, every Wednesday will be a special surprise treat day in your workspace. I'm looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible, I have been cooped up too long!

Survey Says . . . I'll Stick With CoWorking!
AUGUST 1-15, MEMBER SURVEY
Starting TODAY, take our member survey HERE, or ask an OffiCenter Team to get you a printed copy and they'll enter your answers for you. It's a simple true or false, 11 question survey that shouldn't take more than one minute to complete. Every member that completes our CoWorking Survey will be entered into a drawing and one lucky member will win $250. Also, your OffiCenter Team is in a contest to see who gets the most members to complete our survey. So, it could be a WIN-WIN for you and them! Thanks in advance for your feedback.
AUGUST 15-29, WHY I'M STICKING WITH COWORKING
Here's a fun way to tell us why you STICK with CoWorking! Each location will have a designated POST-IT NOTE window where you'll find neon note pads and markers. We're asking YOU, our Work Awesome Members, to write down your reason (or reasons) that CoWorking works for you. Don't forget to put your name on your note because we'll be picking one $50 winner from each location. The center with the most notes will also win a prize. Be creative, who knows? There might be a reason for us to announce additional winners for creativity!?!
ALL WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AUGUST 31 @ 11AM ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Park Place East Power Outage
The power outage and additional required repairs that occurred at Park OC on July 7th was due to a car running into the electrical transformer on the south side of the building, causing it to catch fire and disabling all power to the building. This was an unfortunate accident and we are sorry for inconvenience members experienced. Both entrances are now open again!

On June 22, OffiCenters sponsored a hole at the 2nd annual Give Hope Golf Tournament. The over $34,000 raised will go to helping many local families facing food insecurity and provide resources to those struggling with mental health and addiction in the community. We look forward to partnering with them during the holiday season with HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS. Learn more HERE.
