Farm to School: Procuring Local Foods

Farm-to-School initiatives are widely recognized for their transformative impact on school meals, like fostering a stronger connection between students and the food they consume and supporting local economies. The webinar aims to equip school nutrition professionals with effective procurement practices for incorporating locally sourced foods into school meal programs. Furthermore, strategies for sourcing local foods, establishing community partnerships, and addressing procurement challenges will be shared with attendees. Join us to gain insight on best practices and lessons learned to ensure a successful and sustainable farm-to-school program.
