WAVES: This month we celebrated summer by heading over to Crescent Beach State Park for an extended day! While there, we played games like cornhole, ladder ball, Sorry, trivia, and more! We got to enjoy the beautiful beach and walk the trails around the park. We grilled up some burgers and hotdogs and got to enjoy a big picnic lunch. It was delicious! Spending time outside helps us to be happier and healthier!

ACTIVE: This month our yearbooks arrived! All year, participants in yearbook group have been working diligently to get the PSL/STRIVE Community Support Yearbook ready for production. Staff and participants both collected hundreds of pictures over the past year that have been featured. Participants ran surveys, designed page layouts, and even designed the cover! It is so fun to have created this yearbook as a reminder of all of the amazing things that we got to do last year, and of all of the friendships we made!

STRIVE Studios

Strive Studios has been busy this month making art in all forms. Our marketing group made posters to hang up around Foden road that help people know what goes in the recycling bin and what doesn’t! Other groups have collaged self-portraits and worked hard to glaze their ceramic pieces so we can fill up the kiln and run it soon. Our photography group has persevered through the heat and mosquitos to get some great nature photographs.
