The Widely Neglected Healing Power of Music

Music is a critical tool to understand ourselves and improve our mental health. We all have our favorites that stir our soul. Music is believed to give a voice to the emotions that we feel unable to express but can so easily identify and connect with. Music can bring a smile to your face, a tear to your eye, or even elicit raw, unrestrained emotions deep from within. The next time you listen to a song ask yourself, how does this make me feel? Come join us for Mindfulness and Music on August 14th from 1:30-2:30PM

Please call us at (607) 771-8888 or send a text to (607) 644-2557 to help you with your personal mental health journey.

Working on a puzzle reinforces connections between brain cells, improves mental speed and is an effective way to improve short-term memory. Puzzles increase the production of dopamine, a chemical that regulates mood, memory, and concentration. Dopamine is released with every success as we solve the puzzle.
