Izzy, 16
I am going into my Junior year at St. Francis High School. I am also starting college classes at Anoka Ramsey Community College as a PSEO student. I am involved in theater, band (playing bass clarinet), and am joining student council. I love to read, write, crochet, play D&D with friends, and go camping.

I go to St.Francis high school. I love to bake, play tennis, and hangout with little ones & my friends.

Ian, 16
Hello, my name is Ian and I have been going to this church since I was born and I am now 16 years old. I attend Blaine High School and I will be entering into my Junior year there. I participate in an Art Club as well as volunteering as a Tutor after school. When I'm not in school I enjoy spending time working on puzzles, Lego sets, and art projects as well as biking, gaming and spending time with my cat.

I'm going into my freshman year of high school (9th grade)! I enjoy acting in theater, writing chaotic stories, reading books, riding horses, and making inside jokes with people.

Madisen is continuing in her second year as a CYF Assistant at OSLC. She is going to be a Senior this year at St. Francis High School where she participates in Jazz Band and Robotics.

Kick Off Sunday - Coming Soon!
Plan to be at Our Saviour’s September 7 for Kick Off Sunday, 2025!
During worship at 8:30 & 10:15, there will be a “Back to School Blessing” for students. At 10:15, kids will go on a tour of the OSLC Kid’s Ministry Rooms and do their own service project. After worship, you are invited to STAY, SERVE, and EAT lunch! Service projects will be set-up to do right at church!
SUPPORT Guatemala Team Fundraiser Pig Roast for lunch! Serving starts at 11am. Suggested donation of $10. (Meals available to go as needed.)

Picnic & Play!
Following worship on summer Sundays (weather permitting), gather together by the playground outside. Bring your lunch and a blanket and we’ll have a picnic together!
Then stay for play… playground (for preschool only), yard games, chalk, bubbles, gaga ball, carpet ball and more! It will also be a great time for adult conversation.
All parents/guardians responsible for kids safety and supervision.

A BIG SHOUT OUT TO OUR HARD HAT TEAM!!
Thank you to our amazing Hard Hat Team for all of their work tilling and mulching the ground beneath our playground outside! Not only did they do an incredible job, it was also done quickly! CYF Volunteer Leadership Team
The team will be meeting once a month for planning, support and leadership opportunities. We are always open to more adults joining us!

Final Confirmation Retreat - DATE CHANGE!
Who: Confirmation students who finished their final year of confirmation in 2024-25
What: Retreat to prepare for the Confirmation service and more
Where: Camp Ihduhapi, Loretto, MN
When: Friday, September 19 @ 4:30pm - Saturday, September 20 @ 5:30pm (pictures and rehearsal to immediately follow)
Bring: Bedding for bunk beds, hygiene items/towel (there are private showers on site), pajamas, clothing appropriate for indoor and outdoor, tennis shoes and long pants (required for ropes course)

All those who have currently completed grades 8-12 for are encouraged to come for this weekly opportunity. Come when you can!
Who: Current 9th-12th Graders
What: Weekly gathering for fellowship, Bible study and worship
Where: OSLC Youth Room
When: Sundays, 9am-11:15am
Why: To grow in our faith, relationships with one another and continue down our journey together
Current Bible Study: "Confident Christian" where we'll explore different world religions and religious groups and view them side by side with our own ELCA beliefs. Learning and exploring why we believe what we do.
