CHILD AND PET VEHICLE SAFETY REMINDER

Summer is upon us and it’s a perfect time to remember the dangers of leaving children and pets in unoccupied vehicles.

The chart above shows how fast the your vehicle becomes a sauna. Even at only 70 degress the inside temp can excel 100 degrees in less than 30 minutes.

Please remember to check your back seats for children and leave your furry friends home in the heat.

Thank you!

Somersworth Police Department would like to extend a big thanks to the Department of Public Works for their incredible work on the landscape cleanup around the police department building. It looks amazing and we are very grateful for their work.
