Cyber Seniors

GVCO has partnered with Cyber-Seniors to provide technology training for older adults, utilizing Great Valley High School students to provide one-on-one instruction and guidance.

Again this Fall, GVCO will host several free Medicare 101 Seminars that are open to all. Learn about the various parts, plans and enrollment periods. Bring your questions!

Free Adult ELL Classes

GVCO is hosting small group seminars for adult English Language Learners (ELL) in the community.

Classes and class materials are free. These sessions are tutored by Back to Basics: Learning Dynamics.

The classes will be held at the GVCO Community Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Tuesday 9/23.

Roll Up Your Sleeve & Save Some Lives

Register or use the Red Cross' app. A typical blood donation takes just 1 hour.

Caring Hands Volunteers who donate will get 3 hours of credit time.

Challenger programs are for students with special needs where GVCO offers specialized activities, equipment, and support allowing those with unique skill sets to find success. The emphasis is always on fun and friendship, giving our whole community the opportunity to reap the benefits of good fellowship.

Challenger Gym will return this Fall for our 16th year. Additional details are coming.

Through a generous contribution from Pacer ETFs, a local financial services firm, 2 outdoor basketball courts were added. They were a great additional to Summer GVBL allowing for more games, players and outdoor fun.

A big thank you to our two college interns - Charlotte Powell from Ithaca College and Joe Benson from George Washington University! Both are familiar faces as GVCO alumni who have participated in many of our programs over the years. They spent the summer helping with programming and administrative tasks for Summer GVBL and camps.

GVCO hires several high school and college interns to assist in supporting programming and the GVCO Center. GVCO is a partner with Great Valley High School's Cooperative Education program.

Mason Jiang and his fellow scouts are building a stone retaining wall structure for a new GVCO sign at the Bacton Hill entrance.
