Our Alliance is Expanding Its Geographic Reach and Mission Across the Garden State

Ten years ago, Age-Friendly Teaneck's founders were among a group of community organizers, aging services providers, philanthropic leaders, academics and older-adult advocates gathered at a conference to brainstorm ways to ignite an age-friendly movement in New Jersey. Initial efforts started with only a handful of communities in North Jersey, but now the movement is spreading, and the alliance formed a decade has changed its name to reflect the expanding geography and mission.
