Building a Better Summer for All

We're proud to share that the Carol Stream Park District is featured in the July/August issue of Illinois Parks & Recreation magazine! The article, “Meeting the Moment – How Our Park District Builds a Better Summer for All,” offers a behind-the-scenes look at how we plan, create and deliver meaningful summer experiences for our community. From inclusive programming to thoughtful design, it’s a reflection of the passion and teamwork that goes into every season. Take a peek into the heart of what we do:

Facility Closures for Cleaning/Maintenance

Each year, we perform deep cleaning and maintenance at our two main facilities to keep them clean, safe, and running smoothly. This important work includes tasks that can’t be done while the buildings are in use—like draining and power-washing pools, refinishing floors, and steam cleaning.

We appreciate your patience as we take this time to care for the spaces you enjoy year-round.

Power into Fall!

Finish summer strong! Fountain View Fitness is your go-to spot for building energy, confidence and momentum to carry you into fall.

Join now through Sep 1 and pay $0 enrollment on all-inclusive memberships! Curious about the fitness center, gym, indoor pool, track and all-inclusive amenities? Try them all for free Aug 17-24 after our annual facility refresh. There’s no better time to commit to your health!

Annual Duck Race - August 16

Support a great cause and have some fun at the Annual Duck Race on Saturday, August 16 at 4pm at Coral Cove Water Park. Adopt a duck for just $5—or boost your odds with a Quack Pack ($25 for 6) or Flock of Ducks ($100 for 25) —and cheer on the ducks in the race! Watch in person or view live from the Carol Stream Parks Foundation Facebook Page. Proceeds benefit the Carol Stream Park District Youth Scholarship Program.

Special thanks to our generous sponsors: Williams Architects, McNees and Associates LLC, and Berger Strategic Communications.

Plan Your Perfect Fall Picnic

What better time to plan a picnic than fall? Crisp air, colorful trees, and peaceful surroundings make it the perfect season to gather outdoors. Reserve a shelter at one of six beautiful Carol Stream parks—most located near playgrounds and open green space. Host a birthday party, family reunion, sports team celebration, or just a relaxing afternoon with friends.
