This summer has been a season of rest and healing. I want to share a bit of what I’ve been learning and living during this summer of slower pace.



• I’m letting go of guilt about not accomplishing more because that doesn’t nurture healing!

• Resting creates space to feel it all—the joy of a gentler rhythm, as well as the bittersweetness of revisiting both delightful memories and losses/regrets.

• In this resting space I am attuned to life’s fragility, and inspired to be more present with the ordinary moments of each day—whether it's time with my amazing clients, my dear husband and family, or my precious dog.

• Slowing down has enabled me to savor daily morning Reiki sessions with my dog Lily, as my hands and heart sync with her divine energy.

• I am grateful that even in the midst of unpleasant physical symptoms and challenges, I can always savor the beauty of the magnolia trees swaying outside my bedroom window and the joy of listening to beautiful music.

Meditating With Remarkable Women

Almost a decade ago, I began brainstorming ideas for a meditation script and came up with the title "Meditating with Remarkable Women". The idea lay dormant for years—until just a few weeks ago, when I finally completed this recording.

The remarkable women in this meditation—Mother Teresa, Isadora Duncan, Maya Angelou, and Hildegard of Bingen—all spoke deeply about the power and importance of love in a troubled world.

Now, more than ever, we must continue to nurture love: for ourselves, for nature, and for one another. We are called to invite the love of the Divine Feminine into our hearts daily—a wellspring of hope and perspective. It can awaken us to our lives, even amidst constant distractions and heartbreak. Love is the healing antidote to the simmering resentment that can quietly close our hearts and block our spirits.

I invite you into this soulful meditation as we hear the words of four of history's inspiring women.

Even in the midst of adversity, these remarkable women embodied courage, creativity, compassion and wisdom as they shared their vision and purpose with the world.
